Private Functions/Events/Fundraisers
I am available for private functions such as fundraisers, batchelorette parties, gathering of friends at a home, etc. These classes are the run same as the Open to the Public Adult Classes, ages 16+. The main difference is I will come to the location of your choice. It can be a banquet hall, a school, a conference room, or your home, whereever you feel you and your party would be comfortable. For a private setting the occupancy limit will be 18 people.
All supplies for the painting are provided. Each person will receive an adult canvas that is 16" x 20" to paint your masterpiece on (this will be the only supply you can keep, I will not take paintings nor will I accept them if you do not want them afterwards). I will also supplie all the necessary paint brushes, paint and water to rinse them as well as papertowels.
The cost for these classes will vary depending on the distance of travel, the painting you choose, and the amount of people in your party or any other requests you have that I may be able to provide such as booking a venue etc.
*** I will not be providing beverages for any classes. You must BYOB or bring your own beverage. I would prefer if you brought your own glass to drink out of, but I may have extra plastic 'solo cups' for you to use if you forget your own. ***
Open to the Public Family/Children's Classes
These classes are geared around families with younger children 13 years or younger. You, the parent, have an option of doing the painting along with your child(ren). Each class will have a theme or subject. The child's painting will be slightly different than the parent's but they will connect visually and have the same subject matter.
This type of class is typically held on either Saturdays or Sundays 1pm-3pm at Claymates Ceramic Cafe located at 3 Stadler Street Belchertown MA, 01007.
The space is small so the occupancy limit is 20 people per class. Seats disappear quickly so make sure you watch for updates on my facebook page on when classes are being held! You MUST reserve your seat ahead of time, this can be done by contacting me and paying the entrance fee, if you are unable to pay your entrance fee until the day of the class please let me know or your seat will not be saved.
The cost per child that is painting will be $20.00 unless other wise stated on my facebook page. The cost for parents who wish to paint your own painting with the child(ren) will be $30.00, again, unless otherwise stated on the 'Splatter & Spirits by Dorothy' facebook page.

Claymates Ceramic Cafe does have aprons available for your use during the class.

These classes are for adults 16 years and older simply because it is 'Splatter & Spirits' so there may be people drinking during the class.

Classes
You can also book a birthday party with me! I will come to the location of the birthday party and teach the class in a personal and fun setting. This type of class is mainly focused on children but I can do adult birthdays as well.
The birthday boy or girl will choose the subject of the painting and colors that he or she will paint during the party with her friends. I know how kids can be easily distracted so I can set up a custom time frame with a balance of painting and breaks with you according to your preference.
The occupancy limit for children's birthday parties will be 15 children and the limit for adult birthday parties will be 18.
